Timeless Elegance: Rustic Wooden Wine Racks and Barolo Doors
Are you dreaming of having a custom home wine cellar of your own? Steve Pantalemon, a master designer in building custom wine cellars with modern, traditional, or rustic wooden wine racks, can make your dream come true. Together with his team of design professionals, Steve crafted this wine cellar with sophisticated wooden elements and modern LED light panels.
Installing wooden wine racks is still a preferred option for wine cellars due to the class and sophistication that it brings. Steve’s client was no exception, and for his wine room, his team designed and built LED lighting panels to showcase his exquisite alcohol collection. Each panel was lined with lighting that illuminated the bottles placed on it, adding emphasis to this impressive display. The team installed a Barolo door with a beveled glass insert and an arched top to complete the look. The door’s components were made of laminated veneer lumber from knotty Alder, which was treated and sealed beforehand to prevent air gaps. This Barolo door also had an automatic door bottom, which sealed the wine room when it was closed. Wooden wine racks with a rustic design have a timeless look that never goes out of style. Their versatility means they can be used in almost any wine cellar, whether modern, traditional, or transitional. They are an excellent way to showcase your wine collection and can be customized to fit your needs. Additionally, they can be combined with other elements, such as LED lighting panels or Barolo doors, to create a truly unique experience. Combining these elements creates a beautiful presentation of your wine collection while adding warmth and character to your home.
A Captivating Wine Cellar with Outstanding Rustic Wooden Wine Racks
This wine cellar is full of impressive features. Not only does it have an illuminated panel, but it also has a wooden racking system with a rustic lacquer finish of knotty Alder. It features reveal racks and horizontal display racks fitted with LED lighting for easier label reading. Additionally, cork-forward bottle orientation is perfect for clients looking to maximize the bottle capacity of their cellar, thanks to double-deep or triple-deep racks. A custom-made wine cellar wooden arch in the center of the wine cellar is knotty Alder wood and has a lacquer finish, making it the perfect spot to decant wines or display pieces. Furthermore, diamond bins below the arch can store up to 12 bottles each, while a drawer just above the bins can store other items. Lastly, a top shelf with built-in lighting directly above the arch is perfect for showing off rare wines or liquors.
Installing a US Cellars System HS Unit for a Quieter Wine Cellar
The wine cellar was made even more special with the installation of the US Cellars System HS unit. The team’s design ensures that the cooling system is seamlessly integrated into the design; the ducting system was placed in the attic, and the condensing unit was discreetly placed outside the garden. This provides a peaceful atmosphere, as the sound of the cooling unit is dampened on top of the improved wine cellar cooling and humidity. The cooling system installation was an impressive decision that genuinely transformed the wine cellar and added to its visual appeal.
